Sharing information

The Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007 places a duty on public bodies to co-operate with the council when it is inquiring and/or investigating adult protection concerns.

The Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007 makes it a duty for named public bodies namely the Police, NHS staff and Social Work to share information in order to keep adults safe and protected.
